I used to get my gyros from Jackson Heights from Sammy's halal cart back in the day. I've tried different ones in Brooklyn..and not going to say names but the other one nearby this place--across the street is subpar to this place. I prefer Gyro Hut's gyros because their chicken and meat is a lot more flavorful. Their meat is juicier and when added with the fresh selection of salad and veggies in my wrap, it tastes like a real gyro.

Very solid and consistent. This is not a fancy place but damn good shawarma. I prefer the lamb and chicken mix platter with all of the vegetables added on top. But I also like their falafel.

I have been eating here for a while and consider them one of the cleaner gyro spots in the area. I usually get the salmon over rice with a grilled pita. The salmon is always juicy and never fatty, and the salad ingredients are always fresh. I also really like their Philly cheesesteak hoggie. It's very flavorful and has a really good sauce in it. They are always quick with my order and very friendly.
